If you would like to volunteer for us in one of the capacities mentioned below,

How you can help refugees feel welcome

Teaching: English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), including family learning.

 

Resources:  food, clothing, baby packs and household essentials.

 

Advice Surgeries: Immigration, Housing Mentoring,  Welfare Rights, Employment, Budgeting, General advice and signposting

 

Home Visiting and Befriending Service

 

Health and Wellbeing: Counselling, Exercise classes, Community Café and cooking,

 

Administration : Welcoming and registering clients

Help establish our Community ALlotment

We are just starting work on a community allotment which will help provide fresh produce for our food bank and community café while also engaging the community with local green spaces and each other. If you would like to help, please email henry@brushstrokessandwell.org.uk
